Soap Operas In The Time of The Coronavirus | Celebrity Page

It looks like there may be a light at the end of the tunnel for daytime fans! Soap Opera Digest editorial director Stephanie Sloane is connecting with Jaymes Vaughan to discuss the latest soap opera headlines.

'The Bold And The Beautiful' May Be Coming Back For Good Soon!

It's no secret that the beloved CBS soap opera The Bold and The Beautiful was eager to get back into production! However, new changes will be made the next time anyone steps on the set. Sloane reveals:

"Well, the show tried to reopen on June 17, but postponed a little to make sure they have the proper protocols in place. I spoke with the show's executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell who tells me that they revamped the studios to allow for social distance. Brad also said that they are going to have actors' real-life spouses and partners stand in during scenes and then edit them together to make them look like the actors are really in the same room. Brad tells me that they're doing everything to keep the cast and crew safe."

Some of the big soap opera stars may win big tomorrow night at the Daytime Emmys! Sloane talks with Vaughan about how excited some of the nominees are:

Days of Our Lives' Susan Seaforth Hayes has won the Lifetime Achievement award, but this time she's in the mix for supporting actress and said that in shows that she can still act and it's very life-affirming for her."
