Looking for some new movies to watch this week?

Sonic the Hedgehog is returning to the big screen for more family fun!

Idris Elba joins the sequel as the voice of Knuckles the Echidna, along with original cast members Tika Sumpter, James Marsden, Natasha Rothwell, Jim Carrey, Adam Pally, and Sonic himself, Ben Schwartz.

"Its huge, the movie is huge. If you like the first one... our goal is to get everyone to fall in love with this one. I'm so excited for people to see it," Schwartz said.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is in theaters now.

Jeopardy! host and Big Bang Theory actress Mayim Bialik makes her directorial debut in the drama, As They Made Us, which she also wrote and produced.

Starring acting icons Dustin Hoffman and Candice Bergen, along with Glee star Dianna Agron and Bialik's former Big Bang Theory co-star, Simon Heldberg, As They Made Us tells the story of a dysfunctional family struggling to cope after being impacted by a family member's mental illness.

While Bialik explains that the emotional family drama is not a memoir or autobiography, she was inspired by the events of her own childhood and family dynamic.

"I wrote this screenplay really as a grieving process after my father passed away and I wanted to talk about the dynamics of a family affected by mental illness," Bialik said.

As They Made Us is available in theaters and on demand now.
