The gang is back for lucky season number 13 of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia! Celebrity Page correspondent Howard Henley caught the cast on the red carpet for an inside look.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia season 13

After all these years, it's hard to imagine what new shenanigans the dysfunctional characters of Sunny can possibly get into, but things are sure to change with a new character dynamic from previous seasons.

The end of season 12 marked the departure of Glenn Howerton, co-creator of the series and main character since the beginning. His character, Dennis, left to be a father in North Dakota, but we're told that he will return for at least a few episodes this season.

We spoke with returning stars Danny DeVito, Rob McElhenney, and Kaitlin Olson about their favorite Sunny episodes, McElhenney and Olson's real-life marriage, and the joy of experiencing a Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl win in their show and in the real world.

See the sun rise again on FXX's It's Always Sunny in Philapdelphia on September 5th when season 13 premieres.
