After a month of speculation surrounding Taraji P. Henson, 50, and Kelvin Hayden's, 37, relationship, Henson confirmed that the two have split, due to them being on different pages.

Henson (Empire and Hidden Figures) and Hayden confirmed their relationship in December 2017 and announced their engagement on May 14, 2018.
Who is Kelvin Hayden?
Kelvin Hayden, 37, is a former NFL Pro cornerback who played for the Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears, and Atlanta Falcons. Hayden was a part of the Indianapolis Colts during their Super Bowl XLI championship, earning himself a ring. Hayden has now retired from the NFL and spends his time traveling the world.
Rumors of a Split
Rumors of a possible split between the two began circulating after Hayden was nowhere in sight during Henson's 50th birthday celebration in Mexico on September 11.

Henson's last public post of the two was on March 8th, featuring a picture of the two kissing one another.
Henson Speaks on The Split
Taraji P. Henson took to Instagram to post a segment of her interview with Charlamagne tha God from Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club where she speaks on 'Trauma's Impact on Intimate Relationships.'
In this clip, Henson discusses her relationship with couple therapy and explains why her relationship with Hayden didn't work out. She explains that there is no such thing as the perfect relationship and discusses her plans to try couple therapy with Hayden. These plans were one-sided, as Hayden wasn't as eager to participate as Henson was, ultimately leading to the two's split, due to being on different pages.
Hayden has not made an announcement on the split as of now.
