Introducing Dr. Swift!

Taylor Swift gave a commencement speech that NYU's class of 2022 won't easily forget! In a post shared to her TikTok and Instagram pages, the 32-year-old singer can be seen putting on black heels and zipping up a purple and black graduation gown, then heading to Yankee Stadium to deliver her speech.

Swift captioned her post on Instagram:

Wearing a cap and gown for the very first time - see you soon NYU

As she made her way to the stage, Swift was all smiles and waved at the graduates. She spoke for about 20 minutes, telling the new grads to continue to work hard and shared some life advice to help them navigate their way through life after college.

The '22' singer was awarded a doctorate in fine arts, citing her as:

"a trailblazing and influential advocate for artists' rights in the face of exploitation and a forceful global advocate against discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity."

The singer's parting words to the graduates were nothing short of iconic. Before departing the stage, Swift said,

"I hope you know how proud I am to share this day with you. We’re doing this together. So let’s just keep dancing like we’re… The class of '22."
