Taylor Swift Is Going To Release A Short Film For Her Iconic Hit 'All Too Well'

All Too Well The Short Film

Swifties, the wait is almost over. On Friday, the re-recorded version of "Red (Taylor's Version)" is finally going to be released along with 'All Too Well' (10-minute version) and an 'All Too Well' short film.

Being a Taylor Swift fan is not easy.

After five months since Taylor Swift has announced she was going to release the re-recorded version of "Red (Taylor's Version)," swifties have checked every video, photo and Tik Tok to decrypt Swift's famous easter eggs.

But fans of the singer could not have anticipated what she had in store for them.

After announcing that there's going to be a 10-minute version on the re-recorded album, Good Morning America shared that Swift is also releasing a short film of "All Too Well," written and directed by Swift herself, starring Dylan O'Brien and Sadie Sink.

This is a great opportunity for both actors, particularly for Sink who, during an MTV interview, had stated that her favorite Swift's song was indeed "All Too Well." Furthermore, the two have the same age difference that Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal had at the time they dated.

Rumors about the famous actor being the subject of the song particularly started for the following line on the song:

"But you keep my old scarf from that very first week, 'cause it reminds you of innocence and it smells like me."

Subsequently, pictures of Swift wearing the scarf while dating Gyllenhaal went viral on the internet at the time. The singer, however, never denied or confirmed the rumors that the song written in 2012 was indeed for Gyllenhaal.

But "All Too Well" is not just one of Swift's most successful song -- it is the one that created the strongest bond between Swift and the swifties.

The songwriting describes an emotional heartbreak, in which the good times and the bad times merge together in memories that the singer remembers 'All Too Well.' But perhaps the bridge is the most emotional part of the song, in which Swift sings:

"And you call me up again just to break me like a promise. So casually cruel in the name of being honest."

The continues:

"I'm a crumpled up piece of paper lying here, 'cause I remember it all too well."

During her Reputation Stadium Tour (2018) released on Netflix, Swift had shared that the meaning of the song had changed thanks to her fans:

"You turned it into a collage of memories of you screaming the words to this song, or seeing pictures you post of you having written the words in your diary or showing me on your wrist, and you have tattoos underneath your skin and that is how you have changed the song All Too Well for me.'

"Red (Taylor's Version)" was initially supposed to be released on November 19th, but was later moved to November 12th. The album will feature Vault tracks (which are new songs fans have never heard before) featuring artists such as Ed Sheeran, Phoebe Bridgers, Chris Stapleton and Mark Foster.

Swifties, grab your tissues because "Red (Taylor's Version)" is finally coming.
