We're getting a closer look at the hit Apple TV+ original series Ted Lasso, starring Jason Sudeikis!

Ted Lassois the hit comedy series that cleaned up during award season with nominations and wins from the Golden Globes, the SAG Awards and the Critics' Choice Awards.

Ted Lasso follows a small-time football coach, who is unexpectedly hired to coach a professional soccer team in England.

Co-creator Bill Lawrence joked that season two will hopefully continue the accolade recognition that season one received!

"Mostly I'm concerned with season two getting more awards, you know?"

Jeremy Swift plays Ted Higgins in the comedy, and shared his thoughts on the show's success of the show in the middle of the pandemic.

"I think it would have still hit people, but I think it just hit! [It] was a cathartic thing all the more-so, because of what happened. It sort of highlighted, you know, the humanity in the show."

Jeremy also shared some of his bold ideas for his character in the upcoming seasons:

"I have mentioned this to the writer's room before, that I really hope for a mission to Mars for the Higgins family. I am still awaiting for an email back."
