America's favorite raunchy, foul-mouthed teddy bear is coming back. Seth MacFarlane plans to revive his highly successful film franchise Ted into a television series on Peacock and once again reprise his role as the voice of the deceivingly adorable stuffed animal.

It's been more than five years since audiences last saw 'Ted' on the big screen. Yet, the mischievous, constantly-cursing, pot smoking teddy bear has not been erased from fans' memory, nor that of the voice, writer, and director of the movie franchise Seth MacFarlane. The Orville and Family Guy star has reportedly handed out a 10 episode television series to Peacock for what will supposedly be a prequel about the Thunder Buddy.

MacFarlane is set to once again voice 'Ted,' as well as write and executive produce the series along with Erica Huggins under their Fuzzy Door Productions company. UCP and MCR Television will produce the show.

Released in 2012, Ted became the highest grossing original comedy film of all time earning nearly $550 million on a mere $65 million budget. The success of the first film, starring Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis prompted a sequel, Ted 2 in 2015. Together the franchise grossed more than $750 million worldwide.

Plot and casting details regarding the television series are still unknown; however, one thing is for sure, we'll get to see more of 'Ted!'
