The Crown, a Netflix original show, revolves around the life of Queen Elizabeth from the 1940s to modern years. The show goes through her early years of becoming the Queen, and all the drama, action, and romance in between.



Elizabeth Debicki's Announcement

The Crown's twitter account posted about this exciting news. In the post, reads a quote from Debicki on what this role means to her. She shared:

"Princess Diana's spirit, her words and her actions live in the hearts of so many. It is my true privilege and honour to be joining this masterful series, which has had me absolutely hooked from episode one."

Debicki will be taking over the role from Emma Corrin in season 4 for the remaining two seasons.

Another exciting addition to the show includes Jonathan Pryce, being cast as the next Prince Philip. He will be taking over the role from Tobias Menzies. Fans should stay excited because season 4 of the The Crown is set to air later this year!
