Reality vs. Fiction

While on an adventure with James Corden on The Late Late Show (2015-), Prince Harry talked about the series and its relation to the events he experienced living in the Royal Family.

"It's loosely based on the truth. Of course, it's not strictly accurate, of course not, but loosely it gives you a rough idea about what that lifestyle, the pressures of putting duty and service above family and everything else, what can come from that."

Emma Corrin's Reaction

Corrin who plays Prince Harry's mother in the series reacted to the review stating,

"I felt incredibly grateful to him. I was incredibly moved by what he said. Obviously, I played his mother and that would have been such a sensitive thing. I was very moved he acknowledged it. I'm glad he enjoyed it; I was very grateful for those words."

Josh O'Connor's Reaction

O'Connor plays Prince Harry's father Prince Charles and reacted to Prince Harry by simply stating,

"The idea that someone like Harry is watching it is kind of madness to me."

Gillian Anderson's Reaction

Gillian Anderson reacted stating,

"I would say that Harry is fairly well-qualified to judge what is fact or fiction and it was pleasing to hear he understood what [creator] Peter [Morgan] is trying to do on The Crown."

The storytelling of The Crown is obviously incredible and we congratulate the cast and crew of the series for their big win at last night's Golden Globes.
