The show must go on! After Roseanne Barr's highly visible split from ABC and a quick cancellation of her highly rated series, a continuation is in the works that would see everybody return except for Roseanne herself.
Sara Gilbert, who played her daughter, Darlene, will lead the spinoff, but distancing the story from Roseanne's character doesn't mean the new show can distance itself from its controversial former-star. The network is terrified about what Roseanne might Tweet, and the continued controversy that will follow.
