Who doesn't love a good "Groundhog Day" style movie? The Map of Tiny Perfect Things is the newest time-loop film and we sat down with the stars to learn all about it!

Mark wakes up and finds himself reliving the same day over and over again and endures this horrible loop alone, until one day he meets Margaret, who is coincidentally also stuck reliving the same day. The two team up to try to navigate it together.

Kathryn Newton, who plays Margaret, has previously starred in the 2020 slasher comedy movie Freaky alongside Vince Vaughn.

Since the film is so scarily relevant to everyone's lives since time almost "paused" due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our Rachel Smith asked the stars what "tiny perfect things" they took away from their time spent during lockdown. Kathryn shared:

"I feel like this movie started that for me, first of all. We were on set and it just created this tone of everything became perfect, whether it was like, we saw two little kids and they hugged each other... or we got a shot in one take, everything seemed perfect and I took that away from the movie."

Kyle Allen shared:

"Time alone, time by myself. I've really come to appreciate it and enjoy it, just sink into the present moment, I think has been really beautiful."

Appreciating the little things and the things around us is definitely a common theme within the movie as well as the world we are living in right now.

In the spirit of time warps, we also asked the stars which similar-themed movie is their favorite. Allen shared his all-time favorite:

"I have to throw it back to 'Groundhog Day'... It's just phenomenal, I love it so much."

While we can all definitely agree Bill Murray is the king, if you're looking for a new spin on the classic Groundhog Day trope, you can watch The Map of Tiny Perfect Things streaming on Amazon Prime Video now!
