Zach Tinker Opens Up On Sonny's Storyline In 'Days Of Our Lives' & New Video Game 'The Quarry' | CP

Zach Tinker is having a moment right now!

Since his big return on Beyond Salem, Zach Tinker has taken on the trailblazing role of Sonny Kiriakis on Days of our Lives.

"Playing a character that means a lot to a lot of people... you want to do it well. Everyone's been so accepting of me stepping into the role, so I couldn't ask for more," Tinker said.

The star is also bringing more representation to daytime by playing the first regular LGBTQ+ character on the show.

"No matter where you come from or who you are, being able to see somebody who you see yourself in, you see qualities of yourself... representation is one of the most important things. I think everyone should feel normal and like they belong."

Tinker is also going beyond the soap world and diving into the horror genre in the highly anticipated new video game The Quarry.

"I've always been a huge gamer and I could not pass on the opportunity. I get to play Jacob. It's the last day of summer camp and the kids are sent off and all hell breaks loose."

The game is the latest from 2K and Supermassive Games, with the story offering 186 different endings filled with gruesome deaths and tons of shocking twists.

"I don't want people not to like me and want me to die, but I'm also really excited to kill myself and see how the murders turned out! It's going to be so great."

The Quarry comes out June 10th and you can catch Tinker weekdays in Days of Our Lives on NBC.
