The battles have officially begun!


On this week's episode of The Voice, twelve contestants battled it out to earn their spots in the "Knockout" round. Kelly Clarkson was out sick, so her good friend and country singer Kelsea Ballerini filled in. There were lots of incredible performances and a few noteworthy steals, so let's get into ti!

Awari vs. Jose Figueroa Jr. -"You Say" 

On Team Nick, Awari and Jose Figueroa Jr. sang Lauren Daigle's "You Say."

Nick told the singers that their performance "brought me to church," sharing that it was "a really beautiful thing."

Ultimately, Nick chose Figueroa to move along to the Knockout round.
