The Weeknd, the biggest artist in the world right now and the son of Ethiopian immigrants, has donated $1 million to the millions of Ethiopians left homeless by the conflict between the government and the Tigray People's Liberation Front.
Amid a conflict over government authority in the Tigray region, over 2 million people have left their homes to avoid fighting, leaving countless people homeless and with no manner of income.
