Let's take a look at the newest summer thrillers that will undoubtedly give you the chills.

Child's Play

This remake of the hit 1988 film, Childs Play, has a very 2019 update. In this version, the twisted killer is a doll-app combination called "Buddi." Think Amazon Alexa, but a version that could potentially take your life. And after a disgruntled factory worker decides to remove the behavioral restrictions on one of the dolls, it only seems right that it would want to be called Chucky and wreak havoc on society. It's terrifying but unexpectedly hilarious — be sure to check it out in theaters now!

Annabelle Comes Home

'Tis the season of creepy dolls! The third installment in the Annabelle Franchise, Annabelle Comes Home, proves that Annabelle gives Chucky a run for his money. This time, our favorite paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine, have the bright idea of locking Annabelle in a room filled with haunted artifacts from The Conjuring. You can only guess what happens next — but this movie, which is in theaters now, will constantly keep you on your toes with scare after scare!

This one may not be about dolls, but it'll certainly still make your heart race. In this creepy flick, Midsommar, a young American couple with a rocky relationship embark on a journey with their friends to a fabled Swedish Midsummer Festival in hopes of mending their romance. Things take a turn, but it's definitely not a good one...be sure to see for yourself in theaters now!

If you're seeking a thrill this summer, these movies unquestionably have you covered!
