This Is Us is one of the most addictive shows on television, and we're going through serious withdrawal waiting for season three. Fortunately, Chrissy Metz gave our correspondent the inside scoop on what's ahead.

This Is Us Season Three Look Ahead

Howard Henley caught Chrissy Metz on the red carpet for Sideswiped's LA premiere, so he had to find out what’s in store for us in season three of This Is Us.

Metz starts where we left off, with Kate and Toby post-wedding and Toby's medical issues. She hints that, upon going back to the doctor, he will discover how his condition affects their decision to start a family.

She also explains how the show's emotional rollercoaster isn't just for viewers. To be authentic in the role, she has to be on the rollercoaster when she's on the set, and that sometimes means 5, 6, or even 10 hours in a single scene.

Viewers can look forward to riding the rollercoaster again when This Is Us returns in September.
