'I Survived A Crime' On A&E 📺

A&E puts the audience in the shoes of real crime victims on the new series, I Survived A Crime.

Thanks to self-filmed footage, viewers get an inside look at the terrifying perspectives as people worked quick on their feet in moments of fear at the scene of a crime.

On top of his impressive resume as the Transportation Correspondent for ABC News and Good Morning America, Gio Benitez hosts the thrilling new series.

"This is not your typical crime show. We are focusing very much on the survivors of these incidents. We have these incredible videos, where you're seeing people in high definition. It's so fascinating to hear how these people didn't know how to react. We have this innate wiring to survive as human beings and that's what this show really proves," Benitez said.

Watch the victims' emotional stories of fear, triumph and survival Wednesday nights on A&E.
