Tiger Woods Tweets For the First Time Since Accident

Tiger Woods voiced his appreciation for the love received from the golf community since his accident.

Last week, golf legend Tiger Woods was involved in a roll-over car accident that left him with several serious leg injuries. After a lengthy surgery, Woods is awake and recovering in a Southern California Hospital. Yesterday, he took to Twitter to show his appreciation for the outpour of support he's received from fans and fellow golfers alike.

Tiger is famous for wearing Sunday Red at golf tournaments, and yesterday at the WGC-Workday Championship, countless golfers wore his famous colors to show their support for Woods during this trying time.

Collin Morikawa planned on wearing red as well, but the clothes didn't arrive in time. So, instead of doing that, he chose to handily win the entire tournament and joined Woods as the only other golfer to have a major championship and a World Golf Championship before the age of 25.

Over at the Puerto Rican Open, the entire maintenance staff dressed to the nines as well in honor of the golfer.

Unfortunately, there's really no telling what the future holds for Woods right now, but we know the golf world will always have his back!
