Ho, Ho, Ho! Merry (almost) Christmas! With only days until the holidays, we're counting down the moments by providing the latest entertainment news. Nowadays, it might be tough to sort through the noise and gossip, but in this full episode, we're letting you in on the latest holiday movies to watch, the Sopranos reunion, our Jaymes Vaughan's engagement with Jonathan Bennett, and much more.
He's the recipient of The Presidential Medal of Freedom, The Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His name? Emilio Estefan.
We had the privilege of sitting down with the 19-time-Grammy-award-winning musician and producer. Emilio had this to say about what he is continuing to accomplish after decades in the music business:
"I just got my 44th nomination for the Grammy's so I'm so happy with Brazil305. I mean, it's a blessing it's a blessing and the only thing this can only happen is in the United States. Like I said, I love this country."
Brazil305 is the fourteenth studio album of Emilio's wife, Gloria, on which he is credited as the producer. Gloria and Emilio have been married for over forty years. Gloria is not only Emilio's wife, but his best and most frequent collaborator.
Another collaborator and close friend of Emilio's is Jennifer Lopez. Emilio of course produced JLo's hit song "Let's Get Loud" among others. Emilio had this to say about working with Jennifer Lopez and other Latinx artists over the years.
"Jennifer, I worked with her from the beginning. It makes me so proud because really, they don't know how they can inspire other people. And by the way, it's not only about Latinx. It's about dreams."
Meanwhile, Gloria is a multi-talented artist, who now stars in a Red Table Talk spin-off with her daughter. On Red Table Talk: The Estefans, Gloria talked about her new film, in which she has to kiss Andy Garcia onscreen. This caused Gloria distress as this would be the first kiss that she ever shared with a man who was not her husband, Emilio.
"You know, she didn't wanna do the movie because of that! I said 'come on, Gloria, are you crazy? Andy is like my brother! We grew up together!' The movie, I was laughing so hard because it's really really funny. I think people are gonna love that."
Crime lovers, CBS has your back with these hit shows.
Queen Latifah keeps using her extensive skills to help those in need on the new season of The Equalizer.
Tory Kittles opened up on working with the titan and how their characters intertwine on the new season.
"She's a woman who has come into his life and sort of rocked his boat, his world, in a lot of ways. She doesn't do things the way he does them. She's opened his eyes up to so many different things and she's challenging him to become a better man and a better detective," Kittles said.
Kittles also shared that his relationship Latifah is very strong and that he's a fan of hers in real life.
"We couldn't have a better woman leading us on the show. I think she's the reason why the show is as successful as it is."
New episodes of The Equalizer air Sundays on CBS.
The drama doesn't stop there!
From the mind of Dick Wolf, FBI: Most Wanted just premiered its third season.
The show is bringing the heat! FBI Supervisory Special Agent Jess LaCroix, played by Julian McMahon, continues to fight for justice.
"The writers have their influence by something they find, a storyline that could actually come from an individual and then you create something around it. People on set help us all the time that are communicating with us in regards to how realistic it is," McMahon said.
