Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton Are Expecting!

Tom Hiddleston and his fiancé, Zawe Ashton, have confirmed that they're expecting their first child together!

At the red carpet premiere of Ashton's newest film, "Mr. Malcolm's List," the Broadway alumnus donned a tulle gown by Sabina Bilenko Couture, showcasing her growing baby bump.

The pregnancy was confirmed in a special behind-the-scenes issue of "Vogue" that highlighted the bump as Ashton prepared for the premiere. While Hiddleston was not present for the event, Ashton was joined by her co-stars, Sope Dirisu, Freida Pinto and Theo James.

The couple first announced their engagement in March, after Ashton was spotted with a diamond ring at the red carpet for the British Academy Film Awards. The pair met on the set of "Betrayal," a 2019 play that premiered in London's West End before coming to Broadway.

When the news of their engagement first broke, a source close to the production revealed,

"They were very private publicly, but behind the scenes you could just see a lovely chemistry. There were twinkles in both of their eyes."

They were first spotted together in September 2021 in the waters of Ibiza, Spain, making their official debut as a couple just a few months later at the Tony Awards.

Ashton is most famous for her role in "The Handmaid's Tale" as Oona. She was also in Netflix's "Velvet Buzzsaw," and has been cast to play the new antagonist in the upcoming "Captain Marvel 2," opposite Brie Larson.

No stranger to Marvel, Hiddleston has been playing the iconic villain Loki since the first "Avengers" movie in 2012. He starred in the "Loki" series that debuted in 2021, marking nearly a decade with the studio.

On the red carpet for his Apple+ series, "The Essex Serpent," Hiddleston made a rare comment regarding his relationship, stating,

"Thank you very much. Yes, I’m very happy. I’m so happy."
