We're going inside Chicago P.D.'s 6th season!

NBC's Chicago P.D. is back for another season! Star of the show Tracy Spiridakos, who plays Detective Hailey Upton, chatted with Diva Gals Daily Editor-in-Chief Delaina Dixon about this upcoming season!

We may know Hailey Upton well after 5 seasons of the hit show, but Tracy's character takes an unexpected turn. She develops a love interest with Adam Ruzek!

"It took everybody by surprise, which I really liked," says Tracy.

Chicago P.D. is infamous for their brutal, dangerous, and scary scenes. Having been in scenes involving kidnapping and being beaten up, Tracy is definitely a professional when acting.

"We just have a ton of fun on set, and just laugh and try to make it as fun as we can. Loads of bruises, we were covered in bruises.”

Chicago P.D. is part of a three-show franchise including Chicago Fire and Chicago Med. It really makes each show more interesting because of the crossovers that occur.

“It makes the whole world so realistic and that we all kind of dip our toes into each other’s shows and everyone knows everyone…Being in Chicago itself just makes all the difference."
