Travis Scott, 30-year-old rapper, is currently in the midst of being sued by artist Mickaël Mehala, who can also be identified as "Black Childish," for hundreds of thousands of dollars for allegedly stealing his artwork and using it on his 2016 album cover "La Flame."

However, the issue is that Scott has never released an album under that title.

Mehala is from France, and filed a lawsuit there claiming that Scott used his artwork he made of Scott without permission. However, Ed McPherson, Travis Scott's lawyer, immediately deflected the allegations because Scott had never released the album "La Flame".

McPherson stated the following:

"This is a frivolous and baseless filing which will almost certainly be thrown out once it has it's day in court. Anyone with access to the internet could tell you that Travis has never released an album named "La Flame". The illustration in question was fan-made and was uploaded to streaming services by fans, something any user has the option of doing. Streaming services quickly removed it after realizing people were trying to pass this off as a real album cover. We look forward to dismissing this case entirely."

Scott's most recent single(s) cover looks like this, via an Instagram post he made:

Scott is currently dealing with other lawsuits in connection with the Astroworld tragedy.
