Travis Tritt has sold millions of albums and is one of the leading artists as part of the country music resurgence in the 1990s! He chatted with our Sonia Isabelle all about his first new album in years.

The New Album: 'Set In Stone'

Tritt released his new single "Smoking A Bar," and fans can finally enjoy once again the singer's unmistakable voice. However, the singer clarified why it took him so long to drop new music.

"It wasn't because I was lazy. I made a conscious choice about 13 years ago that I wanted to focus on the live performance part of what I do. I've been like a caged animal. As soon as you're gonna open that cage up, we're gonna run." Tritt said.

Our Sonia Isabelle had to ask Tritt if he'd describe his new album as "classic outlaw Travis music."

"That's the only way I know how to describe it. It's going to be a Travis Tritt album," Tritt said.

Travis Tritt's new album, Set In Stone, is available everywhere now!
