Two New Lifetime Movies Airing This Weekend

Real life sisters, Raechelle and Karina Banno are playing the famous twins, Ruby and Giselle, from the popular books by V.C. Andrews!

The duo starring in multiple films on Lifetime, including V.C Andrews' All That Glitters and Hidden Jewel.

"The stories that V.C Andrews tells are so juicy, and there's so much drama and family tension and secrets… it was just a natural decision to say yes," Karina Banno said.

Playing alongside your twin is also a personal achievement for the sisters!

"It's a dream...It's the opportunity to act with my best friend and sister, so that really sealed the deal. To work on a production that comes from source material that is so loved is something I've never experienced before, so it was nice to dive into that." Raechelle Banno said.

Karina reassures fans that film is for anyone who "wants to curl up, watch some great, juicy tv and know that at the end of it, you're gonna come out strong."

You can catch V.C. Andrews' All That Glitters on Saturday, March 27th and Hidden Jewel on Sunday, March 28th on Lifetime.
