Duchess Kate Middleton Steps Up To Royal Challenges During COVID-19

How Duchess Kate Middleton Is Stepping Up To Modernize The Monarchy | Celebrity Page

US Weekly's Christina Garibaldi has the details on that and more...

Queen Elizabeth has yet to return to Buckingham Palace, leaving Duchess Kate Middleton with an opportunity to practice for the throne. Plus, Taylor Swift is looking to the future and how it will include long time lover Joe Alwyn. US Weekly correspondent Christina Garibaldi is bringing you the updates!

Stepping Up To Royal Duties

Amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, Queen Elizabeth has been passing on duties to some of the senior members of the royal family as she does not plan on returning to Buckingham Palace anytime soon. This means Duchess Kate Middleton, along with husband Prince William, have been keeping busy training for the throne.

The two are next in line after Prince Charles and have received high praise for their work.

Queen Elizabeth commended Kate for maintaining composure while balancing charity work, appearances, and being a wife and mother to three kids.

According to US Weekly, the couple is looking to "modernize the monarchy."

Kate and William are known to dress a bit more modern while still remaining masked for appearances during this time. They've also been working to engage in newer conversations relating to world issues.

Specifically, Kate Middleton recently opened up about mental health while speaking with children across the U.K. Since 2013, Middleton has worked closely with the charity Place2Be which works to raise awareness for mental health and provide counseling groups.

Taylor Swift's Next Chapter

Taylor Swift livened up our "Cruel Summer" with her album release of folklore. Now, the 30-year-old singer/songwriter is looking to the future and whether or not marriage could come soon.

Since May of 2017, Swift and English actor Joe Alwyn have been linked together in a fairly private romance.

Now the couple is talking about the next steps...mentioning marriage and even children.

A source close to the couple gave US Weekly the exclusive tip, stating:

"They don't have a set deadline in place, but they're very much in love."

We wish them all the best for their future.
