Vanessa Kirby

Netflix has just found its newest partner in Vanessa Kirby.

Kirby just finalized a huge deal with Netflix. The English actress and producer stole the show in the hit Netflix original series, The Crown as Princess Margret back in 2016. Now, Kirby runs a production company called Aluna Entertainment. According to Netflix, Kirby "will produce and develop new films that explore the spectrum of the female experience."

Kirby earned an Oscar nod for her role in the drama Pieces of a Woman which was also picked up by Netflix, so it is clear that Kirby is no stranger to the streaming service. Needless to say, this collaboration is a huge step in the right direction in a world that desperately needs more female-centric stories.
