Tis the season -- for visions of Angels prancing merrily down the runway! The annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is airing soon, but who's walking and who's walking away?

Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2018

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show has become a who's who of supermodels. Before it was dominated by names like Jenner and Hadid, many-a-model rose to fame on its fabled runway.

It may be hard to imagine, but when the show debuted in 1995, it was in a far more conservative form. Without performers, and with barely any lingerie, the proto-Angels sported loungewear and pajamas, albeit in heels.

Of course, it didn't take long for V.S. to hit its stride. After all, Tyra Banks joined in its second year -- 1996. It wasn't long before she was joined by Heidi Klum and Giselle Bündchen -- all earning their wings while raising the roof.

One long-time fixture, Adriana Lima, joined in 1999 at the age of 18. Now -- 18 shows and 20 years later, she is finally hanging up her wings with 2018's show marked as her last.

Fortunately, as one Angel flies away, there are plenty of new ones to carry on the tradition. This year's Million-Dollar-Fantasy-Bra is worn Elsa Hosk. She will be joined by returning "veterans" Kendall Jenner, and sisters Bella and Gigi Hadid.

You can watch the supermodels of Victoria's Secret walk-the-walk when the 2018 show airs on December 2nd.
