'Virgin River' Renews For Season Three On Netflix 📺

Virgin River is the latest hit drama series on Netflix!

The show recently topped the charts worldwide as the most-watched series on the streaming platform. Now two seasons in, the drama follows an LA nurse as she escapes into a new reality in small-town America.

Celebrity Page TV recently caught up with two of the show's stars on the success and plot of the new series.

Sarah Dugdale plays Lizzie, another young nurse who's looking for a fresh start.

"I knew we were making something special that had a universal appeal that people would probably love, but I had no idea that it would reach number one," Dugdale said.

Grayson Maxwell Gurnsey plays Ricky, a teenager who acts as the love interest to Lizzie, and introduces a dark side in season two.

"Little bits of mystery here and there. You get these weird, crazy twists that you wouldn't have expected," Gurnsey said.

"This show has so much heart to it. I feel like a lot of the characters are searching for something, or just trying to find themselves, really. It always keeps you on your toes. Whenever I would get a new script, I was excited to read them. That's when I knew people would be excited to watch this show. I feel like 'Virgin River' could be any small town," Dugdale said.

The first two seasons of Virgin River are streaming now on Netflix.
