It's undeniable that after over a decade later, fans still have Bieber fever. That's right, Justin Bieber received the most nominations at this year's MTV Video Music Awards. The "Peaches" singer has 7 while Megan Thee Stallion trails close behind with 6. Bieber is up for Video of The Year and Best Direction for his viral appearance in Drake and DJ Khaled's Popstar video. "Peaches" earned him nods in the Best Pop, Best Collaboration, and Best Editing categories, while "Holy" earned him an additional nod in the Best Cinematography category. Finally, one of the most coveted awards of the night, Artist of the Year, could be in the hands of Bieber, but only time will tell.

The Biebs will also take the stage at the award show for his first performance since 2015. Other performers include Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X, Machine Gun Kelly, Kacey Musgraves, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, and Doja Cat who is also serving as the host. Also, legendary rock band Foo Fighters will be honored with the Global Icon award. Tune in to MTV for the 2021 Video Music Awards Sunday September 12th at 8:00pm EST.

Camila Cabello is set to stun the VMA stage with a performance of "Don't Go Yet" from her upcoming third studio album, Familia. But in the meantime, you can catch the Fifth Harmony alum in a brand new reimagining of an old fairy tale. The Amazon Original Movie Cinderella stars Cabello in the titular role. Her costars include James Corden, Minnie Driver, Pierce Brosnan, and Billy Porter who portrays a genderless version of the fairy godmother. In an interview, Porter had this to say:

"Magic has no gender. We are presenting this character as genderless and it's really powerful."

It's a big year for Porter who just recently received an Emmy Award nomination for his role in FX's Pose. You can catch Porter as the Fab G in Cinderella on Amazon Prime Video now.

As far as real life fairy tales go, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's didn't pan out the way that they had hoped. A new Lifetime movie chronicling the saga of the couple's departure from Buckingham Palace comes shortly after their viral Oprah interview. Sydney Morton and Jordan Dean star in Harry & Meghan: Escaping The Palace which airs Monday September 6th at 8:00pm EST.

In other news, the third installment of American Crime Story has found its focus: Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky. The infamous duo will be played by Clive Owen and Beanie Feldstein respectively. Lewinsky is actually a producer on this project. Its predecessors, The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story and The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story both earned the Primetime Emmy Award for Best Limited Series. Impeachment: American Crime Story premieres Tuesday September 7th on FX at 9:00pm EST.

Get ready Netflix fans! The platform just announced that two of its biggest stars are joining together for their newest movie.

Netflix revealed to TODAY that their latest film project is bringing Joey King, from The Kissing Booth, and Chase Stokes, from Outerbanks, together to play the two lead roles.

The new movie is an adaptation based off of the hit young adult sci-fi series Uglies by Scott Westerfield. Rumors about a film adaptation for the series have been circulating since the first novel's release, so Netflix's announcement comes as quite the pleasant surprise for fans.

Netflix had already teased that King was joining the cast for Uglies, however Stokes' involvement in the production was completely unknown until Tuesday. Along with announcing Stokes as the latest addition to the cast, Brianne Tju, from MTV's Scream, and Keith Powers, from the Freeform drama Famous in Love, will also be joining.

Uglies takes place in a dystopian society where beauty standards are taken to whole new extremes. Instead of getting your driver's permit at 16, teenagers are instead forced to get a complete reconstructive surgery, making them absolutely flawless--but that seems to be the flaw.

King is set to play the main protagonist of the film, Tally Youngblood, who will do literally anything to avoid her surgery. The roles of Stokes, Tju, and Powers still have yet to be released.

Uglies will be directed by Joseph McGinty Nichol, also known as McG, and Krista Vernoff is heading the screenplay adaptation. King will be executive producing the film alongside Jamie King, John Fox, and Scott Westerfield himself.

A premiere date for Uglies has yet to be disclosed.
