"I know a lot of people have been feeling trapped for the last year, and need to get some aggression out...", said Amanda Brugel, who plays Rita on the show, "...and this is the best way to get their aggression out, because it is an aggressive season. The show, based off the graphic novel of the same name, has been among the most iconic mainstays of Hulu since it premiered in 2017. It's never been one to hold punches back, so strap in for what's coming!

Warren Littlefield

"Now, in this journey for June, where I think we examine, 'Just how tough is she?'" said executive producer Warren Littlefield, who's also backed projects like Fargo, "physically, and emotionally, and what is the cost of that? That journey of freedom, that's what this year is about"
