What to Watch April 13th

YouTube originals, documentaries, and more!

Who doesn't like premieres? It's the start of something new, even more drama, comedy, and cooking for your viewing pleasure. Let's get into it!

Kate and Koji

British streaming service BritBox has been coming nonstop with exclusive content recently, and today we get the start of Kate and Koji's second season after a positive reception to its debut.

The show follows the lives of a working class woman who runs a café after she bonds with an African doctor seeking asylum in Britain. It's a funny and unique take on both race and class, and it's back for more!

Chopped: Martha Rules

Chopped loves to let a celebrity guest take the reigns every once in a while, and torture contestants with their twisted basket creations. This time, it's none other than America's mother herself, Martha Stewart taking control tonight on the Food Network at 9!

My Love: Six Stories of True Love

This new Netflix docu-series was inspired by the Korean documentary My Love, Don't Cross That River, and is created by the same director, Moyoung Jin. It follows a year in the lives of six elderly couples from around the world, as we see cultural differences fade for the overall sense of true love to shine through.

It hasn't been an easy year for anyone, and seeing love in its purest form is something we all need right now.

Mighty Express

Don't forget about Netflix Jr, though. The Canadian children's show is back for a second season on the children's platform. Got a little one you need to stare at a screen while you read through Advocate Channel articles? There you go.

Retro Tech

Marques Brownlee has long been one of the coolest creators that YouTube has to offer, and the second season of his original series Retro Tech is available now on YouTube Premium, with the first episode available for free.

Prodigal Son

An all new episode of the FOX drama series Prodigal Son comes out at 9 pm today, with even more drama from what's already an insane second season.

Our Towns

New from HBO is Our Towns, a documentary that looks at how all the social and economic changes happening across the country affect small-town America. It's a side of our country that we don't get to see very often, and now we have an intimate look from two Oscar nominated filmmakers.

Skyville: Jerry Lee Lewis

Country Music Television is premiering a live concert in honor of Jerry Lee Lewis, the legendary country singer whose performance at Skyville is just as iconic as the man himself.

Featured guests include Toby Keith, Chris Stapleton, and Lee Ann Womack. Don't miss it!
