The prestigious Stratford Festival was joined by Shatner in 1954, when the actor was 23-years-old. He stayed there for three seasons and at such a young age had already participated in various projects.

Subsequently, the actor replaced James Doohan in the Howdy Doody Show Canadian Version. Doohan will later become Shatner's co-star in Star Trek: destiny's almost impossible to stop.

And the most iconic role is definitely the one in Star Trek, where Shatner captured the love of millions of fans worldwide. Star Trek's mission was intended as a five years mission, but the series was cancelled after three due to low ratings. However, Captain James Tiberius Kirk will always remain in our hearts.
