Inspiration Behind the Song

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Smith revealed the song was inspired by a Radhanath Swami Hindu that reads,

"It is said that a saintly person is so pure that he or she acts like a spotless mirror. When we come in the presence of such a mirror-like soul, we can see both the beauty and ugliness of our inner life."

Smith goes on to admit she's always been a rock fan ever since attending concerts with her mom. Inspired by such artists as Avril Lavigne, Smith is now delving into the world of pop-punk.

Smith Family Support

All members of the Smith family, Will, Jada, and Jaden have sent their congratulations to the breakout rockstar. Mother Jada Pinkett Smith's caption reads,

"she's kill'n it as per usual!"

Rock Hard Lyrics

"Transparent Soul" exposes two-faced people with transparent souls. Some lyrics read,

"I don't fucking know if's a lie or it's a fact
All your little fake friends will sell your secrets for some cash"

Working together, the lyrics, voice, vibe, and Travis Barker feature make for one hell of a pop-punk debut.

"Transparent Soul" is out on all streaming platforms now.
