The Cast of 'Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist'

After a successful first season, Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist creator Austin Winsberg announced the show will officially return for a second season.

Winsberg took to Twitter to share the exciting news.

The musical comedy premiered on January 7th of this year and follows protagonist Zoey (Jane Levy) who suddenly becomes able to hear the innermost thoughts of those around her sung through popular songs. She must then navigate this new knowledge and find a way to use it to her advantage, all while juggling a demanding job, nosy neighbors, and a love triangle.

Cast members turned to social media to discuss the anticipated next season.

Levy took a break from voicing her support of the Black Lives Matter movement to respond to the exciting announcement.

Pitch Perfect hearthrob Skyler Astin stars opposite Levy as coworker turned love interest Max. Astin shared some pics from the show on his Instagram to show his excitement for season two.

Glee alum and Broadway star Alex Newell, who plays Zoey's musical neighbor, Mo, captured his feelings through a Rihanna gif on Twitter.

The Gilmore Girls star also took to Twitter to share her joy about the news. Graham plays Zoey's overbearing boss, Joan.

No details about when fans can expect the new season have been released. In the meantime, fans can listen to the songs from the show on Spotify and catch-up on the whole first season on Hulu and the NBC website.
