Yes, it's true. Armie Hammer is coming back to the screen, but not to act.

"House of Hammer" is among the newest titles announced by Discovery+ and ID Channel. The docu-series will delve deeper into the Hammer family's history with crime. From the selling of forged paintings from an inherited art gallery to a 1955 murder committed by the actor's grandfather, according to Vanity Fair.

Much like his family, the actor is no stranger to dark allegations. Last year, an anonymous Instagram account shared messages exchanged between Hammer and various women that detailed talks of alleged sexual fantasies involving cannibalism and having slaves. Multiple women corroborated the claims, among them a then 24 year-old European woman named Effie Angelova came forward and alleged the actor raped her in 2017. The pair allegedly had a relationship that ranged from 2016 to 2020.

During a virtual press conference with her lawyer Gloria Allred, Effie detailed the alleged rape:

“On April 24, 2017, Armie Hammer violently raped me for over four hours in Los Angeles, during which he repeatedly slapped my head against a wall, bruising my face."

Hammer has vehemently denied the allegations, even dropping his projects at the time in order to be with his family in the midst of such serious allegations, but made a comeback this year in new movie "Death on the Nile."

The LAPD launched an investigation into the claims in February of that same year.

According to Variety, the series will be

"a trove of archive and interviews from survivors and family members” to investigate a dysfunctional dynasty with its male characters exhibiting all the devastating consequences of privilege gone wild.”

Other titles that were revealed to be released are "Menendez Brothers: Misjudged?" and "Who Killed Biggie and Tupac?" which are slated for an August release and many more.
