Billy Crystal

72 year old actor and comedian Billy Crystal announced in a virtual interview with Stephen Colbert that last week he received his first dose of the Moderna vaccine for COVID-19.

During the interview, which is found in full above, Colbert says he's jealous of Crystal receiving the vaccination, to which Crystal joked, "Well, don't, I'm older than you".

With The Late Show going virtual, Stephen remarked the last time Crystal was there, there was an audience. They also discussed what they've been doing in quarantine. Apparently, Crystal he has been passing the time playing basketball and doing the NYT crossword puzzle each day.

Crystal stated he's most excited that he's one step closer to "hugging his children and grandchildren again".

Crystal is a legendary comedian and actor best known for his roles in When Harry Met Sally, Monsters Inc, and The Princess Bride. His most recent film, Standing Up Falling Down, a movie where Crystal stars alongside Ben Schwartz, is airing on Starz as well as Hulu.

With more celebrities and everyday Americans alike getting vaccinated every day, things may finally be starting to look up.
