John Boyega

The new indie thriller Borderland is set to star John Boyega, Jodie Turner-Smith, Felicity Jones, and Jack Reynor.

Inspired by Steven P. Moysey's book, The Road To Balcombe Street Variety described the film as:

"The film will follow an Irish paramilitary soldier who witnesses the shooting of his wife by an SAS sergeant and makes it his personal mission to extract revenge."

Directed by brother-duo Charles and Thomas Guard and co-written alongside BAFTA-nominee Ronan Bennett, the film is set to shoot in the U.K. early 2021. The Guard brothers previously directed 2009 film The Uninvited, which grossed over $50 million worldwide. Cinematographer, Erik Wilson is set to be the director of photography.

The brother stated:

"Borderland is a vengeance fueled chase movie, fusing some pulse ticking action with a powerful message for our times. We're thrilled that the script, driven as much by character as it is by plot, has attracted such a first rate cast."
