Even though we're at the peak of summer heat, Carrie Underwood has announced that she'll be bringing the gift of Christmas early this year by releasing her first-ever holiday album, My Gift.

"My Gift" Coming Soon

Produced by Greg Wells and sound mixed by Serban Ghenea, My Gift is Carrie Underwood's first Christmas album. In the trailer teasing the album, the singer says:

"I knew this would be my next music project after wrapping my tour last year, and I think it's turned out to be the perfect time for an album like this, in this period of such personal and spiritual reflection. For me, it's more important than ever to focus on the true meaning of Christmas in a project like this. Even though it has been a tough year for all of us, sometimes I feel like the greatest realizations can be inspired by the most difficult times, and make us more grateful for the things we do have and for what truly matters."

Guests accompanying Underwood on this album will be released at a later date, but My Gift will feature a world-class orchestra led by composer and conductor David Campbell. This album will include traditional holiday music that celebrates Underwood's Christian faith and embodies the "holiday spirit." Fans can expect to hear some original songs as well.

You can pre-order the CD here and wait to pre-order the album on vinyl, which will officially be released October 30th. You can listen to Underwood's album, My Gift, when it is released on September 25th.
