Thanksgiving is here, and for America's favorite food-filled holiday, we have another thing to give thanks for: TV comedies' annual Thanksgiving episodes.

Although the history of this fall holiday and how we got to where we are today is dicey, to say the least, this sometimes-chaotic, but constantly culinarily-anticipated holiday is food, family, and friends-centric. Friendsgivings are constantly on the rise, and although Thanksgiving dinners might look a little different this year amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, besides the food, there's one thing that can always make it feel a little more like a traditional Thanksgiving: TV thanksgiving specials.

Here's a list of a few you should consider rewatching.

The Office Season 7 Episode 9: “WUPHF.com”

Cosmopolitan

Ryan has dragged some of his coworkers into WUPHF.com drama; meanwhile, Dwight organizes a hay festival in the parking lot.

Friends Season Season 5 Episode 8: “The One With All The Thanksgivings”

This Thanksgiving episode includes tons of flashbacks, so really it feels more like multiple Thanksgiving episodes all in one. Plus, characters with turkeys on their head. There are many more Friends Thanksgiving episodes to choose from after you finish this one too! "The One With The Rumor" (S8EP9), guest-starring Brad Pitt, has to be a close second.

How I Met Your Mother Season 3 Episode 9: “Slapsgiving”

The first Slapsgiving started a series-long tradition. After this one there are plenty more Thanksgiving and Slapsgiving episodes.

Master of None Season 2 Episode 8: “Thanksgiving”

The comedy series gets real in this Thanksgiving episode. Filled with flashbacks and difficult conversations and issues, it's a good one to watch if you want to feel your heartstrings tugged at a little bit.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 4 Episode 7: “Mr. Santiago”

B99 is another great comedic series with multiple Thanksgiving episodes to choose from, so once you finish this one, move on to the next!

New Girl: Season 1 Episode 6: Thanksgiving

New Girl is another show known for its Thanksgiving episodes, with all seasons except for season 5 having one, so you may be watching these until December with a plate of leftovers in your lap, but what better place to start than the first one?
