Candace Cameron Bure, who has starred in more than two dozen movies for Hallmark since 2008, is the latest actress to sign a deal with GAC Family, formerly known as Great American Country.

GAC Media announced on Tuesday that the "Fuller House" alum, would be joining its roster after signing a deal to develop, produce and star in movies and tv shows across the network's two channels.

Bure was a Hallmark regular, playing the main character in Hallmark Channel's film adaptation of the "Aurora Teagarden" novel series and starring in many of the network's holiday films, such as "Christmas Town," "If I Only Had Christmas," and "The Christmas Contest."

"I'm very excited to develop heartwarming family and faith-filled programming and make the kind of stories my family and I love to watch," Bure said about her new deal with GAC. "I am constantly looking for ways that I can inspire people to live life with purpose. GAC fits my brand perfectly; we share a vision of creating compelling, wholesome content for an audience who wants to watch programming for and with the whole family. Great, quality entertainment with a positive message is what my partnership with GAC is all about!"

A spokesperson for Hallmark's owners, Crown Media, said in a statement,

"Crown Media has enjoyed over ten years of collaboration with Candace. We respect her decision and thank her for her many contributions."

Bure will work on "original content for GAC's channels" and "create year-round seasonal celebration content for the networks and play a key role in the company's annual Great American Christmas franchise" under her production company, Candy Rock Entertainment.
