Dustin Diamond

Actor and Saved by the Bell alum Dustin Diamond passed away on Monday after battling stage four cancer. The news was confirmed by his manager, Roger Paul.

It was revealed last month that he was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer. Roger Paul spoke to NBC News, saying:

"We are saddened to confirm of Dustin Diamond's passing on Monday, February 1st, 2021 due to carcinoma. He was diagnosed with this brutal, relentless form of malignant cancer only three weeks ago. In that time, it managed to spread rapidly throughout his system; the only mercy it exhibited was its sharp and swift execution. Dustin did not suffer. He did not have to lie submerged in pain. For that, we are grateful."

Paul goes on to say that Diamond was admitted to a Florida hospital in January.

His Saved by the Bell costars are taking to social media to pay tribute.
