Announcement of Two Episode Release

Euphoria's Instagram announced to its 2.1 million fans that the show will be returning in less than two months, with the first episode coming out on December 6th. This special episode release will only be available for viewing through HBO and HBO Max.

Zendaya, star of Euphoria, also took to her Twitter and Instagram to announce the comeback, with a very similar caption and exact same photo, featuring Zendaya's character, Rue's, reflection through an eye.

Euphoria's Rise to Fame

Created by Sam Levinson, Euphoria, features an A-List cast portraying the lives of high school students as the protagonist, played by Zendaya, battles with drug abuse.

The story of Euphoria is based off of Levinson's real-life struggle with drug abuse, which contributes to the strength of the story Euphoria aims to tell.

Most notably, Euphoria caught the eyes of many, due to its groundbreaking cinematography and soundtrack, written by Labrinth.

A-List Cast

Playing the lead role, Rue, is actress Zendaya. Zendaya is known for her work on Disney Channel, her role as Michelle "MJ" Jones in Marvel's Spider-Man saga, and more.

Playing Rue's best friend, Jules, is actress and model Hunter Schafer. Hunter Schafer is well known for her LGBTQ+ activism, as one of the more famous transgender models.

Jacob Elordi caught the attention of many with his role as Noah Flynn in Netflix's The Kissing Booth saga. Elordi plays antagonist Nate Jacobs in Euphoria who deals with anger management issues and family troubles at home.

Alongside these three is an ensemble of amazing actors and actresses. Sydney Sweeney plays Cassie Howard, Barbie Ferreira plays Kat Hernandez, Alexa Demie plays Maddy Perez, and Maude Apatow plays Lexi Howard.

Emmy Award Winning Show

Zendaya recently won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her portrayal of Rue in Euphoria against some very brilliant women including Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer, Olivia Colman, and Laura Linney. With this win, Zendaya also became the youngest recipient of the prestigious award.

The show has also been nominated for the TCA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Drama, British Academy Television Award for Best International Programme, Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series, and GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Drama Series.

The first season of Euphoria received great reviews and fans everywhere are excited to see what the show will do in the new upcoming episode releases.
