Game Shows To Look Out For This Summer

The MUST-WATCH Game Shows This Summer! | Celebrity Page

From classics like Family Feud to newer competitions like The Titan Games, here are the summer's most hyped game shows.

If you're a reality competition junkie, you're in luck! Networks are rolling out revamped game shows. For decades, these friendly (or not so friendly) competitions have entertained viewers across the nation. With summer 2020 approaching, here are some game shows to look out for in the next few weeks.

The Returning Classics of ABC

Keeping things classic at ABC, we can expect to see the more commonly known trivia themed shows like Celebrity Family Feud, To Tell the Truth, Press Your Luck, and Match Game. These modern spins on classic game shows will start coming out May 31st.

The Titan Games

With a hiatus on sports due to the coronavirus pandemic, this game show will freshen up your need for some physical competition. After a successful first season in 2019, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is back to host season two of The Titan Games. The show involves athletes going head-to-head in a best-of-three competition testing the limits of endurance and strength. The competition concludes with a challenge on Mount Olympus unveil the next Titan. The contestants include professional athletes, celebrities, olympic gold medalists, and more. One of the contestants of season two includes former New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz. On working with The Rock, Cruz says:

"Not only did The Rock pick you because he respects your career and respects what you do as an athlete, but the fact that he's watched us, and watched our careers and knew our names, The Titan Games is their Super Bowl, the Titan Games is their olympic gold medal match."

Although the season premiere came out on May 25th, you can still catch up! It is available to watch here. Be sure to watch the rest of the season on Monday nights at 8/7c on NBC.

Game On!

For a fun competition among celebrities, comedians, and sports stars, CBS brings us a brand new game show called Game On! The show airs every Wednesday night at 8/7c where host Keegan-Michael Key leads two teams of celebrities through insane challenges. The two teams of this season are led by tennis champion Venus Williams, Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski, and comedians Bobby Lee and Ian Karmel. The challenges include ones of athleticism and laughable trivia. You don't want to miss the madness that ensues!

From the shocking strength of the athletes in The Titan Games to the classic charm of games like Match Game, we can expect to see a lot of game shows starting in the coming weeks.
