Fans know Nicholas Chavez as Spencer Cassadine on General Hospital.

Now, Chavez is opening up on his character’s complicated journey to prison as he rethinks his closest relationships.

"He's constantly evaluating and re-evaluating all of these different circumstances in his life. I have been a Sprina stan since day one. The on-screen chemistry that I have with Sydney and that Spencer has with Trina is palpable," Chavez said.

While one relationship may be blossoming, Spencer’s dramatic past with his father Nikolas is showing no signs of improvement.

"There's been way too much that's gone on here for Spencer to come back and gravel for any sort of relationship."
