From 2001-2009, President George W. Bush stood firm on his issues - one being immigration. Now, the former president is shedding light on immigrants in a unique way.

"Out Of Many, One'

The 43rd President's book "Out Of Many One: Portraits of America's Immigrants" includes 43 portraits of immigrant stories from people he had met through the years and essays he wrote about each of them.

Since leaving office, Bush has become a best selling author for books like "Decision Points" and "41" along with painting collections like "Portraits of Courage". According to Associated Press, Bush said in the introduction of his book:

"While I recognize that immigration can be an emotional issue, I reject the premise that it is a partisan issue. It is perhaps the most American of issues, and it should be one that unites us. My hope is that this book will help focus our collective attention on the positive impacts that immigrants are making on our country."

"Out Of Many, One" will be published March 2nd, 2021 by Crown Publishing and is available for preorder now.
