Katy Perry and Zooey Deschanel have officially teamed up, and it's got us doing a double take. Deschanel starred in the singer's new music video "Not The End of The World." The celebrities have commonly been mistaken for each other over the past decade, so it's no surprise they decided to have some fun.

Katy Perry - Not the End of the World

On an Instagram Live, Perry said:

"I had this idea that Zooey would step in while I was taking a bit of a [maternity] leave ... for so long we've had this funny relationship ... people think we look alike."

Perry joked that she actually used to pretend to be the former New Girl star, so she could get into clubs. She said:

"When I first got to LA, I went to the club a lot. And I wanted to get into the club, but I had no money, I had no clout, I had nothing, and sometimes I would pose as you to get into the club."

But the switch up has gone both ways. Deschanel added:

"I've had full conversations with people who've thought I was you."
