The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special will be airing on Disney+ on November 17th, according to the Twitter source.

The official Star Wars news release revealed that the special will reunite Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie, Rose and the rest of the LEGO Star Wars characters. It will also mark the first LEGO special to premiere on Disney+, strengthening the collaboration between Lucasfilm and the LEGO Group.

The team behind the holiday special includes director Ken Cunningham, writer and co-executive producer David Shayne, and executive producers James Waugh, Josh Rimes, Jason Cosler, Jacqui Lopez, Jill Wilfert and Keith Malone.

In A Galaxy Far, Far Away.....

The Star Wars press release gave a breakdown on what the plot will be like, in which Rey embarks on a new adventure called Life Day, as she works with BB-8 to investigate even more of the Force. When she arrives at the Jedi temple, Rey finds herself in a sticky situation, in which she goes in a time warp where Star Wars all began. Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi will be making appearances in the special, as well as the rest of the Star Wars universe.

Rey's mission is to figure out the deeper meaning of the holiday season and prepare for the Life Day feast at the same time - but will she be able to achieve her goals? You'll just have to watch it in order to find out!

But That's Not All, Folks!

The Force has many tricks up their sleeves! The press release also revealed that next month will mark the release of the 2020 LEGO Star Wars Advent calendar (which will be distributed on September 1st), and it features the development and production of the hit show. A LEGO Star Wars holiday sticker book will also be distributed to the public, in which fans have the opportunity to have fans of brick stick instead of the regular clicking.
