Taco Bell

Award-winning musician Lil Nas X tweeted earlier this week about his new position working for Taco Bell after being appointed as Chief Impact Officer.

Montero Lamar Hill, publicly known as Lil Nas X, worked part-time at Taco Bell in 2017, fueling his tweet referring to " life coming full circle" now that he has a corporate job encouraging diversity and inclusion for the brand.

Taco Bell CEO Mark King commented on the move in a public release, saying:

"Lil Nas X knows the job, the experience, and the culture Taco Bell creates for its fans, including its people,"

King also alludes to the partnership in a press release following his statement on Lil Nas' qualifications to the job,

"This unique partnership will deliver on more than just marketing, allowing us to tap into the genius of Lil Nas X to inspire our team members and align with our commitment to unlocking opportunities for young people."

Taco Bell, as with other worldwide organizations, are moving towards a more progressive impact with consumers by including relatable, inclusive, and diverse stars to collaborate with. The fast food giant believes that this partnership with Lil Nas X, given his large social media following, will benefit them in more ways than one.

With this newly created position, a Chief Impact Officer is designed to connect people with food, promote social issues that need attention, and music.
