Netflix has renewed La Casa De Papel, better known as Money Heist for its fifth and final season!

After the eight-episode fourth season launched in April, the heist will come to an end. The fifth season of the beloved Spanish drama will conclude with a ten-episode fifth season which begins filming in Spain on August 3rd.

Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Patrick Criado are set to join the star-studded cast for the finale.

The official Twitter account for the series shared the news with their audience.

Executive Producer and Showrunner Alex Pina spoke about the series coming to an end, saying:

"We've spent almost a year thinking about how to break up the band. How to put the Professor on the ropes. How to get into situations that are irreversible for many characters. The result is the fifth part of La Casa de Papel. The war reaches its most extreme and savage levels, but it is also the most epic and exciting season".
